As a premiere art support company, there is a proper way to carry and handle our products.
For Stretched Wooden Canvases
Do not wrap your hand around the cross bars or stretcher bars as knuckle marks and indentations are caused by grabbing the stretched canvas improperly. Hold the crossbars at the edges.
For Stretched A-Liu-Minum Canvases
There is a channel on the bars to grab on to, so there is no need to wrap your hands around the bars.
Key Tying & Expansion Capabilities
For key tying and instructions to expand our mechanical and A-Liu-Minium stretchers please contact us at service@simonliuinc.com.

The construction of folding stretchers allow large paintings to be transported without being removed completely from the support itself. This service is available in all style of our stretcher products. Typically, the stretcher is divided into two sections and connected with aluminum angled hardware.
Our foldable stretchers with stretched artwork are folded with the painting facing in around a sonotube. The bigger the painting, the bigger the sonotube. The sonotube is wrapped in glassine or a material that will not damage the painting. Wooden brackets are then installed on the top, bottom, and two sides.
‘Wet folding’ is also available for large paintings that need transportation but are still drying.
