What is an Strainer Stretcher?
The Strainer Stretcher is the oldest and strongest form of canvas support. The inability to key out when the canvas is loose can be avoided with proper stretching, preparation of the canvas surface, and proper storage environment.
We stop producting strainer stretcher in large scale. It is only available in small size and without any crossbar. Two profiles available – Continuous Bevel with Flat Back and L-Shape Tongue & Groove.
Flat front, flat back strainer stretcher is ideal for those who want to put panel on their own. Constructed out of basswood.
